LKSC will be hosting pickup games this summer.  All girls who will be U11 thru U18 this fall are welcome to join us to keep up their touches, have fun, meet other soccer players and keep your skills ready for the fall. We will have a U11-U14 (U-11/U12 & U13/U14 if there are enough girls) game and a High School game.

Games will be held at Buckeye Woods Park from 7:00 to 8:30pm on Thursdays, beginning 6/18 thru 7/30 (no scrimmage on 7/9). 

There is no cost involved.  No registration necessary.  Games will be supervised, not coached.  What to bring:

• Water
• Cleats
• Shin Guards
• Fill out and bring the signed Player Form (PDF)

6/18/09 Congratulations to former LKSC and current MHS varsity player Stephanie Bowman for being selected by the Gazette as the 2009 All-Gazette Girls Soccer Team MVP.  Fourteen county players were named to the team but only one MVP was selected.  Way to go Stephanie!

A belated congratulations also goes out to former LKSC player Lauren Schollaert who made the Mount Union Varsity team in her freshman year.

6/15/09 - Plan now to attend the LKSC Advanced Soccer Camp.   This camp is open to all female players that play on or would like to play on a competitive team.  LKSC Camp Form (pdf file).

6/13/09 - Tommy Thompson, father of former LKSC and MHS Varsity player Amanda Kessel, will be doing a 1/2 Triathlon for the benefit of the Flying Horse Farm, a member of the "Hole in the Wall" camps set up by actor Paul Newman for chronically ill children.   You can follow Tommy or contribute to the cause at his personal log page.


5/27/09 - Premier Sports Conditioning is offering a FREE youth conditioning clinic on June 2nd for athletes ages 9-11.  See the following flyer for more information.  Furthermore, they are offering LKSC players a $30 discount on training fees.
