What is Futsal?

Futsal is played around the world and is often a preferred alternative to the indoor soccer that we know.

Following most normal soccer rules, futsal is played on a gym floor without the use a dasher boards.  A slightly heavier and "dead" ball is used rather than the traditional soccer ball.

LKSC modifies the futsal rules slightly to make it a better training environment.  We do not use goal keepers and use smaller portable goals than what is normally used in official futsal.

We randomly form teams and they play for three minutes (or sudden death).  The winners receive a point for winning. Teams are then re-shuffled and another game is played.  At the end of one hour the points are added up and the leading player receives a "Futsal Champion" t-shirt.
